Seven years ago, Ilaya Nila Isaikkulu embarked on a mission to become the first—and to this day, the only Tamil rock band in our nation. Serving as both drummer and band manager, I have lived and breathed that mission, taking our music from local stages to worldwide events. Every beat on the kit and every decision behind the scenes has been dedicated to taking our signature sound to every corner of the country.
